The ever increasing importance of thermal efficiency and the change in building regulations for residential and commercial properties has meant all windows must achieve lower overall U-values or a window energy rating (WER) rating of C. Using British Federation Rating Council (BFRC) certified simulators our window system passed the required tests confirming that the system is suitable for both new build and refurbishment, domestic and commercial properties.
The 60mm window system uses the latest thermal technology to reduce the heat loss. The polyamide strip creates a complete break in the aluminium, which used in conjunction with the specially designed gaskets, minimizes the heat transfer and subsequent heat loss.
Ideally suited for application in schools, offices, public buildings and domestic residences the window system is extremely thermally efficient and incorporates softer lines to make it aesthetically pleasing. The construction of the polyamide window sections enables dual colour powder coating which allows for the windows to be finished to personal specification.
The system can be constructed to an open out casement window either top or side hung, open in either bottom or side hung and tilt before turn opening styles.
The open out casement with internally beaded vents has achieved a successful full BS 7950 security test pass.
